Anyone seen Springfield's Xtremeflauge finish? I saw it listed on the custom shop worksheet as a custom refinishing of the slide and was wondering what the heck it was.

Springfield Mgrs: "Jeez guys, we're not taking advantage of this XD forum."
New Guy at Springfield: "I just got out of my Marketing capstone class, and they taught us that you can ask leading questions on a board to get buzz going about something new you offer! Let's use one of those names we registered a while ago and have been sitting on!" Springfield Mgrs: "That's a great idea, new guy! Let's try it out! Here's a congratulatory XD polo shirt for your efforts!" Oh, and either way, welcome to the board!

Wish I was a new guy at Springfield!
New guy to the site though and I guess I don't quite have the lingo down yet. Anyway, I was looking on the springfield website and when you click on the custom shop link, then download the xd custom shop worksheet, the very last thing on the list is "Xtremeflauge refinishing of the slide". Just wondering if anyone had any extra info. Maybe some pics. -Aub- |

Well, then you did good by finding something no one knows about! Nothing on Google or here, and Springfield doesn't even know what to charge people for it.
I would guess it's a combo of green, black and maybe a tan or gray armory kote?

I was browsing their site last night, I saw it. Its on the custom work order sheet (its a .pdf file). I was wondering the same thing, about how it would look on top of an OD Green 9.

I wonder if it's just in a digital camo pattern.
