Picked up a used HS2000 (problem)
I just got a used HS2000 that I thought was in good condition, took it to the range with 50rds of WWB and 50rds of magtech both 115gr FMJ. the problem is every 3rd or 4th shot, the casing would stay in the chamber then the fresh round would feed in to it causing the stoppage. I cleaned the pistol very well before taking it out for the first time, and when I got home from the range I did a detail strip of the slide looking for broken parts all of which look fine.. so I am very confused. it came with 2 10rd mags both had the same jams.. so I am about out of ideas, I like the way it shoots but with the jams I cant keep it the way it is. well any ideas what maybe causing this?

No parts available yet but I'm sure someone will chime in with some detailed advice...

you are getting a classic double feed. This is 99.9% extractor related. I'd say send it back to SA, but they may not warranty your HS2000. But I bet they would fix it though.

All the hs2000 I have seen did not have the accessory rail like yours. Anyways good luck finding the cause of the jams. I hope it works out for you.

The first generation of HS2000's didn't have the accessory rails, but the third (?) generation did. And if I remember correctly, Springfield did and does honor the lifetime warranty for the HS2000, just as if it had "XD" on the slide.
