Cheee-whooo

just picked up my XD40 5" yesterday and going to take it down to the range tomorrow...if only .40ammo was cheap...300 rounds the first time should suffice......the agony of the wait...

At least you didn't get the .45. My wallet went on strike after my first weekend at the range.

hey, might be a dumb questions, but why don't they make .40 in a round "nose" type of bullet???...like the 45 and the 9mm's are...

yeah i went with the tactical partially because I head it's "easier" to control than the service model...

My thought has always been......shoot what and when you can. If you can't afford to shoot get a .22. But still be shooting.

alright took my XD out this morning and shot about 150 rounds through it...one malfunction...crappy lead ammo...other than that, the feel of the XD is awesome! i feel alot more control then my old Glock .357 and the HK USP .40. well, the .357 is a totally different animal...but anyway...i love my XD Tactical. and the wife loves it. i'm thinking of picking up a Service 9mm in the coming months...so...

Don't worry about the malfunction. The wife's XD had ONE malfuntion during break-in. That's it! Not one since! Keep an eye on it just in case, but I bet you never have any more problems after break-in.
