being wintertime i'm always double or triple layering by using a wicking base layer (patagonia capilene/north face vapor wick), another loose fitting shirt over that for the concealment and a sweatshirt or something to help the print. i mostly carry OWB with my Galco M7X holster as it removes from my belt in a number of seconds where my IWB holster usually requires a belt readjustment. i figure i'll just have to lose 5lbs this summer to fit looser in my clothes or get a few larger shirts. no prob. and i carry an xd9 compact. and it conceals very well for me.

I have been using the Crossbreed Supertuck (great holster Mark) with my XDSC9 and just wear a t-shirt. During the summer I wore shorts and a t-shirt. No one has ever noticed it and even tho my wife knows I carry all of the time, she sometimes asks because she can't see any imprint.

When I carried my Model 60 (Chief, but SS), I carried a simple in the waist band belt clip holster. It worked fine.

I don't think a little printing is going to get you busted for not concealing your weapon. Most people aren't looking for a gun, and unless you are in a tight shirt, fully tucked in, most IWB holsters will do a good enough job.
I think this is a good statement. A bulge is just a bulge right? Who knows what it is...as long as someone can't obviously tell you have a gun under there, it shouldn't be a huge issue. I conceal under a single layer tshirt, polo, or long sleeved T all the time, with a IWB and a Sub. Using my buddies service model I think I would have to be much more creative with that grip in concealment, but it was still doable. Buy one of the Subs or the 45 compact and a good IWB tuckable and you should be able to hide it with just slightly looser clothing. In the winter its a piece of cake, but in the summer I wear baggy cargo shorts all the time, so I assume the IWB will still work most of the time, plus I am going to sew velcro into the cargo pockets to install my 5.11 velcro holster for a very stable pocket configuration. The XD is a hefty piece so I don't like it when its floppin' around.

I'm 5'9" and approximately 170 pounds and I carried a full size XD-9 in a supertuck without incident in all seasons. Now I've switched to the XD45 Compact and use the same holster. The end result is I have never had any problems.

I just got a belly band and it works ok, but you practically have to take your pants off to get your weapon re-holstered.

I have a crossbreed quick clip and a 45c that i have been wearing around. When i look at myself in the mirror i see myself printing on my pants pretty awfully around my back pocket. Does anyone else have this problem?
