S.A. custom shop prices??

how much does it cost to get a trigger job done at the SA custom shop, pretravel, overtravel, reset, and 4# pull.?

I looked on their web site and can not find the prices, if anyone here has had it done i would like to know the price and turnaround time.

if any one else knows any other GOOD shops that know the XD I would consider them as well.
I have already talked to canyon creek and I am leaning towards going with them. Rich sounds like a good guy to work with.

thanks for any help

I sent my XD9 Service Model to Springfield for a competition action job and had it back in my hand in exactly 3 weeks. The cost was $200 plus the charge for me to ship it to them. The change in the trigger pull, overtravel and reset is dramatic. I recommend it to anyone who wants to shoot tighter groups with their XD.

Nickle Teflon

I'd like to get a Hard Chrome finish on my XD, but I noticed in that price sheet that a "Nickle Teflon finish" was available for $175.00. I've never heard of such a beast before.

Does anyone have any experience with it? Does it stack up well with the Hard Chrome finish? Other thoughts?

-James

I think that may actually be Robar's NP3 plating. If so it's probably not as hard as hard chrome, but a lot more lubricious.

lubricious, i love that word.
