First XD

Just picked up a XD45acp Tactical, I love the look of the 5", anyone with this paticular model please let me hear about your shooting impressions and opinions as I've heard some guys say that they like it better than some of the $800.00 and $900.00 H&K's, Sigs,etc.. havent had a chance to go to the range yet, but that will change real soon.

Thanks

Welcome to the elite group of XD 45 Tactical owners. It is a great weapon and one of my favorite shooters. Take lots of ammo with you becasue you will love burning rounds through it...only downside is the cost of said ammo....take your saving account with you to WalleyWorld when you load up.

Sounds like a plan, I hope to put atleast 300 rounds through her the first time out...if everything I have read about this platform and XD's in general hold true...I think this may very well become my new favorite 45

Handgun magazine just did a shootout with an XD, S&W M&P, HK P2000, & Glock 17. They were all 9mm, but the XD did really well.
