useful info on the holster
I was looking at the holster that came with the xd, and it seems like you can adjust the height that the holster can from the clip and the most useful thing I found was that you can also adjust the tilt angle of the holster as well. I found out that if you adjust the tilt angle forward, it will not make the butt of the gun protrude as much when you are wearing jacket to conceal it. Originally the tilt angle was at at straight 180 degrees, which made the handle of the gun, protrude very noticeable when wearing a jacket over the gun.

Did your's come with a paddle version? As far as I know they only came with belt slides, like mine.

I wonder why yours came with the paddle?
I was just writing in another thread that I don't like the adjustable paddle because the gun sits too far from your body and does not conceal well at all. They came out with a different paddle for Xd that is not adjustable and fits tight to the body - kind of like the fobus - I think it even says "made in Israel" on the new one.

paddle, I think
I think it's a paddle version, since it does have a curved panel, that you stick down into the waist band of the pants.

Only thing I'm considering for the XD gear is attaching it under the dash of my truck. Otherwise, I'll stick with my Blackhawk CQC, Serpa, or (eventually) my Supertuck.
