SIG was the only handgun that has really disappointed me so far...
Finish was terrible, it rusted in 4 months, and quick working one dayhalfway through a mag....broken takedown lever and slide jammed back. SIG did send the part ASAP. The gun did get traded soon after as I just didnt like it for the price. IMHO it should be cheaper than a Glock or an XD because thats where the quality is. I do realize it could have been any gun that broke..just my experience.

I agree, i got a CPO 229 with both barrels for 600, and it looks brand spanking new and it has 3k rounds through it and has not failed one time, it always fires. my duty Glock 22 will FTE every once in a blue moon. but not the sig. I also sold my XD .40 to buy my sig. It was in excellent condition with tru dots and DGR and 3 mags, i got 300 for it, the gun was 6 months old and damn near perfect looking, i got very lucky i got so much as others were offering in the 200 range, so you may aswell keep your xd and save up for a CPO sig

I don't like Sig's. It's like holding a tree trunk and it's heavy. But that's just me.

If the 9SC is your carry gun, is the Sig going to be the nightstand gun? I'm just curious because you can still use the XD 40 as the nightstand gun. Add a M6X or other laser/light combo to it. That is cheaper than getting a new gun. If you simply want a Sig to have a Sig, then trading your XD in is cheaper than just buying the Sig. Nothing wrong with a Sig, that's for sure.
