I filed my taxes tonight and I will get my refund on the 16th. On Friday the 16th I am heading to my local gun shop and picking up a .40 XD Service model.

Very nice! I'm not to sure what mine is gonna be or when it's coming, but if the '05 and '06 are any indicators, I'll get $60 - $120 back from Indiana and the feds and send a check to King Richard for a dollar or less.
My plan is the refund is going into the proverbial cookie jar for an AR lower or a Mossy 590.

I e-filed my Fed and State returns on 1/19. I got my state refund back in 5 days!
 I got my Fed back yesterday (2/1)!

I mailed out my tax returns yesterday. Doubt any of the refund will go for a gun. I'm still shopping for a car.

Should have our refund in a few days. My wife gets this years check
 ...... new living room furniture and a plasma TV for the wall. I had fun with last years check though .

Funny, my wife is doing the taxes now. Last year I had a business that I didnt do too well with and got back a whoppin amount of money. This year I'll probably get back a decent amount as well but it wont go to any guns, gotta pay off my vacation.

My wife does taxes for a living, so she got us a pretty good return. But I had to agree to her buying the kids new beds, and paying off some bills, I am hoping for about 1000 extra left to buy me a Springfield GI 1911 and her a Baby Eagle .40.
