I was thinking about heading out to TargetWorld in Sharronville, tonight or within the next few. Anyone feel like heading out with me?

If tonight, I can meet up about 7-7:30pm.

I have a service call to go to as soon as I leave the office today somewhere off of i-74.. Some idiot home user thinks that they need to upgrade to windows xp pro.. I might be able to make it up at around 7:30.. It just depends on how long it takes to upgrade their pc. I bet it's going to be some old hunk of junk with hardly any memory...

hahahahahahaha... i love morons.. this lady wanted me to upgrade here windows me computer to windows xp so that she could open excel documents... call cancelled.. I'll be up there at 7.. i hope they have some lanes available.. the last time i tried to go on a thursday night, i showed up at 7:30 and all the lanes were booked. do you have a membership there and can reserve a lane?

Targetworld? Holy cow! I just looked at their website. Looks like a pretty cool place. Why can't we have a place like that in Indy?!

It's not that great.. but a good selection of firearms.. I found exactly what I wanted there.. I got the xd-40 sc bi-tone.. The have a huge markup though.. most of their sigs are above msrp.. their ammo is rediculiously expensive.. But they have about everything you could want. I paid $516 for my xd there. that place is always packed, except for right when they open up. That's why I usually go bright and early on saturdays.. They need to do some maintenance to their facilities. All of the lanes the targets sag and a couple of the employees could care less if they give you any help that's worth a damn or not. I still go there though when a buddy from work wants to shoot or I want to shoot before work because I work in Blue Ash.

Other than that I shoot at ShooterSupply in Independence KY. They opened up a new facility that might be a year old now. http://www.shootersupply.net for anyone interested. Lane rental is 9 a half an hour and rental guns are 8. A little more expensive that Target World but it's well worth it for me. 15 minutes away compared to 45. I have yet to go there and not get right in. You can also shoot high powered rifles there.

coworker just bought a membership there. $75 for the year, and you can shoot all you want (well, okay, maybe not, but you can shoot as often as you want). if you _know_ you will be shooting once per month or so, you'll definitely do well with the yearly membership. i'm sure they're banking on those of us motivated to do that, and end up going only 3 or 4 or less times.
