quick prolly stupid question. will a tactical slide work on a service frame and visa verse? i ask because i want to get a trigger job done but I'm planing on buying a tactical for idpa and ipsc but if the slide will work on my service frame ill send it out to get all the mods done and just keep the new frame for my carry gun.

Yep, the tactical and service frames are the same for the particular size catagory. 9mm - .40 - .357 Sig frames will interchange and are different from the .45 ACP frames and I have no clue about the .45 Gap frames.
