Some people complain about the trigger (meaning the front where your finger rests) being rough especially after shooting a lot. I can't remember the last time my trigger face bothered me. I think where you position your finger has a lot to do with whether or not it will bother you. Just shoot some more and build up some callouses. beat me to it...

I don't think it should be a problem if you're concerned about legal liability, as long as the work has been done by a professional.

"Internal action work may be used to enhance trigger pull as
long as safety is maintained (no visible external modifications allowed." I am not sure what that means but I assume it means not a hair trigger. |

Unlike in other sports, the amount of money you put into a your doesn't dictate your performance nor speed.
Obviously you're going to do better with a tricked out XD Ruger P89 but still you will only do as good as you can do, the gun isn't much of a factor.

If you do the trigger job, you don't need the cleanup. It is not valid to say it is the Indian or the arrow. It is both. In some cases it may be more Indian than arrow and vice versa. It sure is more fun shooting a gun with trigger work though.

IDPA doesnt' have a number for trigger pull. Yet. But if King Bill wants one, he'll write it in. I'm pretty sure the extended mag release is illegal.

Slicked guns do not make fast shooter practice does. For top shooters a slicked gun will make shooting fast times easier but a good shooter will do very well with a totally stock gun. Just shooting the gun will do a lot to smoothing the action so with the exception of the two item I mentioned I would spend the money on ammo and put in some extra practice time.

Also, $130 for a TFO job? I think James did mine for $100 installed (I think it took $6 to ship, or something like that). Were you planning on sending it to SA? Our forum sponsers do some fine work. I'd look to them if I were you.

Thanks for all the posts guys.
I am not looking to be doing double taps right out of the gate. I am making an investment in this for both safety and for fun. The trigger really is my least favorate part about the stock gun. My first time out I found myself jerking because of the long travel and also missing the reset a few times. So for now it looks like: Carry Trigger Job Truglo TFOs trigger smoothing ramp feed polish I can't wait to shoot it when it gets back. |

scalce I am also wondering where you are going to send it. I want to have both of my pistols have a trigger job and night sights on them.
