CCW in ACTION VIDEO!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=3AA_dgRdD...related&search=

Maybe this is old but I just saw it on YouTube. Thought I would share. What do you think the jury would think of this guy? He got off one round facing the BG but the rest were in hte BG's back. Depending on the state he might have a problem. Check it out and let me know.

I don't think he made it out the door, looks like the guy is going over to check him after the shooting. Wonder what it was he was grabbing over at the counter before he went around it? Reload?

I've read a description of the events written by the hotel clerk. He wrote about it on a few gun forums. Here is what happened:

He said the robber had a large revolver and was demanding money. The robber fired (and missed) immediately when the clerk revealed his gun. (That is when everybody ducks just before the robber turns to run.) The hotel clerk then fires 3 shots, hitting the robber all three times in the side and back. While being shot, the robber fires once as he is running out the door. (You can see the robber's shot miss and hit the ceiling.)

The hotel clerk said that the camera angle makes it look like the woman/kid were closer to his line of fire than they really were. (Although, it looked to me like this was only because the woman started moving out of the way when he started shooting.)

The robber collapsed just outside of the door. He survived and was sentenced to a few years in prison.

The hotel clerk said the cops were very nice to him, the lady with the kid expressed gratitude, and he didn't face any charges. This is somewhat surprising because Ohio has only had concealed carry laws for a few years, and they aren't even very good laws anyway. (This is changing in a few months.)

Also factoring in to his shooting ability is that he is a NRA certified instructor, not just some Joe Schmoe who happened to get his CCW a couple weeks earlier. The guy teaches others how to shoot defensively.

Glad nothing happened to the kid. I hope I am never faced with that situation but he reacted well. Not to be an a** but the large woman who gave him cover to draw helped as well. lol

Glad to see there was someone there with the ability to act. Who knows if the BG would have let the others live or not.

This video has been around this post since it came out but it's a good lesson and a good video to see if you have a CCW.
