XD Service .40SW and .357 are they structurally identical?
I ask this because in the case of the Sig P239, there is a difference in slide dimensions between the 9mm and the .40SW/.357 Sig versions. I am thinking about converting my XD40 Service to .357 Sig and I want to make sure I am not going to put more wear and tear on the gun by converting to .357 Sig. I would think both the .40SW and the .357 Sig frame specs are the same but just want to make sure. If I convert to .357 Sig, I plan to shoot it a lot and I don't want my gun going belly up on me before its time.
Also, are the mags for both identical? Thank you.
