I've noticed that on my XD9 Service since I got it.... And I just pulled out the sealed envelope with the test fire casing from factory and it has the same thing on the primer.
I am not worried about it after approx 1200-1400 rounds down range. |

I'm not sure why this thread got brought up from the dead but..
I've got about 350 rounds through my XD9 service. The primers look exactly like the ones in the OP's picture. My ejected casings have the same mark on the side as well. Not only am I not worried about it, but I appreciate it. Makes it easier to find my ejected cases on the floor if others are shooting something with the same head stamp. |

I get the same marks on the side of the casing and the primer wipe (same gun model).
Hundreds of rounds with no problems so I don't worry about it.
