Having trouble making decision!

OK here's the deal. I was really, really, wanting to get a .357SIG Bi-Tone XD since tax time has arived.
I just got back from the local gun shop, and they only have a XD-9 in plain black. The guy called 4 different places and they couldn't find one to order for me. Soooo...do I wait for them to find one, or go ahead and just get the XD-9(cheaper ammo) and have it finished to the color I want??
They're askin somethin like $475.00 for the XD-9, new in the box. Which is kinda weird bein I bought my Xd-40 from the same place and it was only $425.
Anyways, some helpful advice would be helful

Wait. 40's and 357's can be converted to 9 with just a barrel. Don't go right after the fat chick just cuz you know she'll put out.

I know it's hard...and you want it right now,but I would wait and get what you really want. You'll be happier in the long run.Do any gun shows come near your area?

very rarely at the local National Guard posts
I think I'm just gonna go with a black XD-9
Cheaper ammo, and I can get the slide finished however I want it later.
Plus I got to diggin and found a place that has a better deal than locally....$419.00 for service model, 3 mags, and holster vs. $478 for one without holster and only 2 mags
I might get the SIG conversion barrel later also.....
