I cleaned my XD40 ported barrel, and was amazed to find the barrel has a definite ring about 1/2" from the chamber. The barrel is noticably bigger in diameter at that point. Seems I read that the barrels were 2 piece, with a pin on top. the barrel is .5795 at the middle of the barrel, and .5995 at the widest part, at the point where the pin would be if there is a pin.
Is it normal, should I worry, are all XD barrels 2 piece? Am I going to die cause' of a KB, or will I die in the arms of a woman? [much preffered]

Thanks, I do not know how to do a search, so I am sending the XD to you very shortly. I did a search on bulged barrels, and guess I need to search some more. Now to find that woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
