Anyone smooth out the trigger face on your XD??

I am just curious if anyone has smoothed out the trigger face on your XD. I just recieved my XD back from Canyon Creek for a trigger job and it is very nice but the trigger face seems to be ruff and the trigger safety actually sticks out a very small amount further then the trigger. I know Canyon Creek does this work but am curious if anyone else has had this done on their XD. I would like to get rid of the grooves on the trigger all together and smooth out the trigger saftey if it is worth it. Thanks for any info.
