Thumbs up New Suresight Out!

Just received info that the Suresight triangular sight is now done and can be ordered. I have Truglos on my 9mm, but was thinking of putting on the Suresights for my XD 45. Any thoughts on this? Anybody suggestions on who I should get to put em on? I don't really trust my local guys. Seen too many screwups..

Thanks..

Here's the link to order the sights...

There's a couple people on the board here like Ajames that could probably put them on for you. (Sorry you put you out there like that ajames but you were the first one that came to mind)

Please post pics, and, more importantly, a review on it...

I'm still not convinced that they'd be worth the price without being true night sights... Hell I can get the big dot's for around the $89 the suresights are running; and wouldn't have to pay extra for an install with one of the forum sponsors. I guess I'll have to wait for somebody to spring for them and post a review.

Nothing against the folks at suresight but a company could say that their product takes the stink out of a tuna factory... doesn't always make it so though does it?

That's a new analogy for me... maybe I'm too young to have ever heard that one before.

I suggest everyone hold off on passing judgement until user feedback starts rolling in. Personally, I don't care for the big dots as they don't meet my individual requirements (operationally or visually). Sights are a very personal thing. What works for one, doesn't work for another. Therefore when discussing the negatives of a particular weapons sight, I think the user needs to preface his remarks by saying, "they didn't work for ME." As an example, Trijicon brand night sights have a huge following. For me the Trijicon (brand )dots are too small - I much prefer the larger and brighter Meprolights. Compare Meprolights to the Heinie Slant Pro or to the AmeriGlo Operator, and I much prefer the Heinie and AmeriGlo due to their thinner front sight. And the list goes on.

I know that several people have been waiting for these sights, so I'm glad to see they're coming to fruition. For those unaware, they have been developed by a forum member here -- the same fellow that wrote that great XD Torture Test article if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what people think of them. Of course it's hard to tell without actually using them, but I think the design would work fantastic for a carry pistol.

I'd like to try them out on a Glock only because I have a Glock site pusher and the instal is piece of cake. If they look good (to me), I'll put a set on one of my XDs for sure.
