If you couldn't carry your weapon at work.....
Would you leave it in your car?
I only ask because cars get stolen despite the best anti-theft devices and I would hate to give the bad guys one more gun, but I wouldn't wnat to "go without" either. What do y'all think?

Depends on how safe is the parking lot at work, and how anal they are about gun locked and out of sight.
At my last job (like all others) guns were forbiden , even in your car. But as long as they were locked and out of sight the security guy didn't care. Security was good so many kept a handgun in their vehicles. But repeated events of leaving a visible weapon could get you a pink slip. One showing of a weapon outside your car was all that was needed for a butt first trip through the front doors. So when a deranged lawyer showed up with two pistols and a suicidal/homicidal rage, all we could do was to run like hell.

Wellllllll my 2cents...I will be going to my CC class this saturday and will get the CC around 90 days later. I really don't plan to carry that much but do plan to keep a weapon in my Truck. I do plan to install a vehical safe of some sort but most of the time my truck is parked in a secure palce at work, at home the weapon will go in the house. Still will have a some concerns about when to carry and when not to.

I leave my pistol in my truck while I'm on the jobsite though I'm not totally comfortable with it. I'd like to get a truck safe. Any suggestions?

A 22 in the pocket is better then a 45 in the truck.

As for the 22 in pocket is better than a 45 in truck... this is also why I've been considering a Kahr PM40 or XDSC for deeper cover. I can see why some people have 10 XDs. lol
