GunKoted the barrel

Well, my wife got a SC 9mm at the gun show a couple of weeks ago, and when we got home she took a nap. I had some matte black GunKote lying around from another project, and decided that I would go ahead and "Kote" the barrel while she was sleeping. It looks great. The pistol still has never been fired (she's been sick), but do yo think it was a good or a bad idea to do?

yeah, I doubt it will hold up to the friction between metal. Make sure you applied it light around the breach, and withsome CLP it might not wear too fast, but I wouldnt hold up much hope.

I personally sanded my barrel down and polished it, I think it looks best that way to begin with
