I'm SOLD!!!!

Well when I first started shooting I started shooting a Glock 19 with my wife. We rented that a few times and then I moved up to a Glock 22 and really like it. After that I shot a friends Taurus Mellenium "poor spelling" 9mm and hated it. I also shot his Sig40 "didn't really care for it, and his Kimber 1911 .45 compact carry and liked it a little. Today I went to my local gun shop and rented a Springfield XD 4" .45ACP. Wow I loved it from the first shot all the way to shot 150. I had a 2" - 3" mainly 2" they whole time. I won't however get the .45 ACP because the wife said it was too much for her right now. I dropped 100.00 on the 40 Service Model with the complete kit. He has a 90 day layaway so I will be picking it up in the next month or so. I also ordered the complete conversion so I can shoot 9mm with it as well. The XD is extremely light and feels so natural to shoot. The day I pick it up I will most likely shoot 300 - 400 rounds through it right off.

My experience was the same..

The XD 45 ACP (rental) felt perfect in my hand when I picked it up and shot like I'd had the gun for years. Shot 6 magazines all inside the same 5" target ring from 15-20 yards with a rental gun. Pretty impressed!
