I tried to hold out for that, but I just couldn't. The damn P-22 just pissed me off way too much. I sold it, and bought a Taurus mod. 94 revolver in .22lr. Not as sexy as an autoloader, but once I got the sights adjusted, I can shoot that little revolver better than any other handgun that I own. Not that I wouldn't love and instantly buy a .22 conversion kit if they came out with one. I'd probably even put up with Ceiner's crappy service or Advantage Arms' Commifornia magazines for the sake of being able to shoot .22 out of my XD-9. However, the P-22 had to go. Hopefully some manufacturer who doesn't suck will make a kit soon. I would love to get one for christmas.

Edit for this reason:
My p22 has had zero problems. No jams or anything. It eats the remington or federal 550 packs as well has cci stingers. There are 3 P22 in my family and none of them have any problems.
You must have gotten a good one. I clean all of my guns religiously, (every time I shoot) and this one was a pain no matter what condition. It had an FTF every other round (I did have the A magazines, so it wasn't that), it wouldn't cycle with anything cheaper than CCI mini mags (I use the Remington 550 packs for all of my other .22s, so no ammo interchangability) and whenever I carried it in a holster, the front sight would fall off. The dots on the sights were also way off, no matter what adjustments I made to them. So after training myself for a while to finally get the P-22 to work, I would pick up my XD-9 and, if it wasn't for gravity, couldn't hit the ground. Walther had a good idea, and they work quite well for some people, but it just wasn't for me. Oh yeah, and I was shooting Remington Thunderbolt once, and it leaded up the barrel so bad that I swear it was squeezing them down to .17 caliber before going out. This was 4 magazines of ammo through a perfectly clean gun. I was a couple of rounds away from a KB when i noticed it, and it took me a screwdriver, dental picks and destroying a bronze brush to clean it out.

/rant

sorry about that, bad memories. Back on track (not that i was really on it) I'm glad the P-22 works for somebody.

I'll take one. It'll be great to use for teaching my wife how to shoot. Of course, I need to buy the gun first before I can get, let alone use, a conversion kit.

Well since your asking, I will take one of both. I really like the idea of being able to shoot all day and only spend about $20 with the 22lr, but I have also wanted a Desert Eagle 50AE, but would rather have an XD 50AE.

I only have a problem with the blazers when I have my supressor attached, Other than that my P22 is great. I am gonna set up some steel traps in my yard to shoot at. As of now no houses on side of me just desert,
