I bought an XD40 4" today which included the XD Gear holster and 3ea 12 rd magazines! I'm excited to get out to the range now and for my CC permit to show up in the mail so I can carry it.

Thanks for the informative forum guys, because it helped make up my mind to go toward the XD

Welcome to the club! Now.. whatever you do.. don't go to a Sportsmans Wharehouse, or a gun show.. you will buy bullets.. so many bullets that you will worry that your mortgage payment won't clear.. I just did.. I bought a thousand GD bullets!! and you know what I am going to do!? I am going to shoot them.. at a piece of paper that is taped on a board leaning on a stump!

Am I spending my time and money wisely YES! Am I going to regret it? NO! Am I going to be able to afford a nice dinner and a good bottle of wine? NO! I don't like wine, and I buy my meat from people who kill meat.. I eat at home, and I need bullets!
