Bought a new XD40 today
So far I've just dry fired it. Have a couple questions. Is the Hi-cap mag for the 40 just 10 rounds? Also, a full magazine takes considerable more effort to seat fully than an empty. Anyone else have this problem?
I bought a WWB 100 value pack for 15.57 at Wally World and am anxiously awaiting the weekend to go out and try 'er out. ![]() |

A "FULL CAPACITY" mag is 12 rounds. The magazine will become easier as the spring tension decreases. You can speed that up by loading and unloading. The ten round, "REDUCED CAPACITY," mag will have a "10" on the back of the mag showing capacity.
