Spoke with Frank the other day and they wont have any ready for 30 to 60 days

at least in 9mm. I ordered from Barsto. I was told that 7 out of 10 barrels will drop in.

What exactly needs modification if the barrel does not drop in?

Most likely the lower lug.......

From my experience with my Bar-Sto barrels, the barrel hood of each required a little filing on the top and sides.

The 9mm semi drop-in fit perfectly. If you have any problems. you can send the barrel and slide and $15.00 to Barsto and they will hand fit it and return it. Check the web site to see if the amount has changed.
