XD40 - Service vs. Tactical Accuracy
I have a service model XD40 that is currently at Canyon Creek getting FO sites, trigger work, spring/rod combo and ext. mag release installed. I plan on carrying and using this gun for IDPA. However, the more I think about it, the tactical would have been a better choice for IDPA and still carry use. With that said, does anyone have both and is there any difference in accuracy in real world or competition shooting?

This question has been asked before, and surprisingly, those that know first hand tend to say that they shoot as well with the service model. Go figure.

I've got both bitone service and a tactical XD-9 's . I shoot substantially better with the tactical. It may be the most accurate nine I have, including the Glock 34, Beretta 92fs, and the SIG 226 Sport Stock.
