Was browsing the sunday paper and flipped through the ad for a local gunstore. They're having an XD special purchase. The sale is good till October 28th at Vance's Shooter Supplies or Buckeye Outdoors in Columbus OH. Thought I'd let everyone know about our favorite guns.

Subcompact 9mm or .40S&W $399
Compact 9mm or .40S&W $399
Tactical 9mm or .40S&W $429

Tactical 45GAP $399 comes with 5 mags

Compact 45ACP $429
Tactical 45ACP $459

All guns are 2006 package and Black with the exception of the 45ACP which is available in Black or Dark earth.

This was the little nudge I needed to get the 45 ACP. Can't wait to shoot my new gun!

If you buy the ACP, set a healthy ammo budget. Right know the best price on acp ammo is Blazer brass at Wally World for $9.97 per 50.

I know, I'm sure I won't fire the 45ACP as much as my 9mm, probably just a 50 round box each time I go compared to about 200-300 rounds from my 9mm. On a side note the gun store also has 45ACP Blazer target ammo on sale for $8.99 per 50 round box.

Is it Blazer Brass or Aluminum? Tha's a good price for brass. My wife's SC9 doesn't digest the aluminum well. Never tried it in my ACP.

It's blazer brass ammo 45ACP 230 Gr. FMJ. This place has great ammo sales if you watch. Last month they had 9mm Blazer brass for $5.99 per box of 50. It's up to $6.99 but still not bad.

Those are some good prices the XD's are going for $499 where I live for the SC and Service. The .45's are going for $529..
