XD9mm Tactical vs Browning Hi-Power or CZ 75

Help I would appreciate all opinions. How does the XD9mm Tactical compare with Browning Hi-Power or CZ-75 in the accuracy department. Thanks.

My XD9 Tactical is more accurate than my Step-Dad's High Power.
Not much, but a little.
It's WAY more fun to shoot, though.

I happen to own all three of these pistols (XD-9 Tactical, CZ-75B and a Browning HP practical model) and have to say that they are all very accurate pistols and they are all very likely to be more accurate than the person firing them. All three of mine are unmodified except for Hogue rubber grips on the CZ and HP.

It comes down to what you feel best with. I personally think that I shoot most accurately with the CZ, but if I were allowed to keep only one it would be the XD because I shoot competitively and that first shot from the draw is best with it (no safety to work or DA first shot to transition from). Try them all out if you can and go from there.

I can't speak for the CZ-75, but my personal experience was that my XD9 Tactical was more accurate out of the box than my 9mm Browning Hi-Power Practical while off-hand shooting. Neither was shot extensively from a rest to check inherent accuracy. Both have seen significant mods (new sights and CC trigger job on the XD; new sights, new trigger, and a lighter mainspring on the Hi-Power) and now shoot comparably with handloads tuned specific for that gun. Neither particularly care for 115gr commercial ammo from an accuracy perspective and both perform okay with 147gr FMJ WWB or American Eagle. YMMV. I still have more money invested in the Hi-Power than the XD9 Tactical, although the difference now is less than the $200+ difference in NIB purchase price.

All on par ...

The only thing that may make the XD slightly less accurate for shooters would be the higher bore axis. I am still getting used to that on my XD. Shooting low. Never shot a Browning HP. Love the CZ and XD. Love the lighter weight of the XD.

Accuracy from all should be very good out of the box.

After expensive mods you can get the BHP to be the very accurate, but a CZ-75 can be quite accurate too.

Well I can tell you now that I own the XD 9mm Tac. and shooting the CZ (brother-in law owns) that the CZ is a good shooter, but the XD has a better trigger and lower felt recoil (percived). the muzzle flip on the CZ is (IMHO) a little less, just barely, and the way to see/notice this is with a weak hand shot. At least for me.

double Tap's are easier with the XD because of the lower percive recoil. Mag changes are faster with the XD. And Accuracy (no ransom rest test) I say it goes to the XD in my hands. Overall the XD is a much better value. IMHO

Well, you can't go wrong with with any of 'em. Last on my list is a CZ75. I beliee the HP is one of the best built, fun to shoot 9mm's ever built. However, I think that about the XD and CZ too....

Well, that does it, buy all 3.
