XD9 extractor problems
I recently bought an XD9 and took it to the range. Of the 250 rounds i put through it i had about 25 jam due to the shell not extracting. I believe it could be the ammo that i was using. Has anyone ever had a similar problem?

Did you buy the XD new?
That is a lot of jams. What type of ammo were you using. I would say that if the gun was new then it is ammo for sure. Even if the gun was used I would try some different ammo. Check the extractor too.

But welcome to the forum.

I was using cheap reloads just because i wanted to break the gun in. I did buy the gun new and have been reading all the reviews trying to find any negative comments, but have been almost unable to find any bad reviews. I am in the process of trying different types of ammo and was just trying to see if anyone else has had similar problems. When I was at the range there was a guy that said he just sold his XD40 because it kept jamming.

Try some new commercial ammo like blazer or wwb etc.
