Are there any other good sites to buy ammo other than Cheaperthandirt.com? I just want something thats easier to navigate because its a PITA there. I like pictures too!

I've found good prices, but usually the shipping and any additional charges seem to kill the value of online ammo. I just wait for the gun shows or gert some at wally world (or Academy).

Check out www.ammoman.com. I believe shipping is included in the price.

Gilberts Guns has a pretty good deal going on CCI Blazer Brass in 1000 round cartons (9mm, .40, .45), fully reloadable. Ordered on a Friday, arrived on a Wednesday.

Another one to check out is Sellier & Bellot. I just received a case from Natchez in .45 acp for $165.00. I think shipping to Ohio was around $20. They have .40 for $7.69/box. It is brass cased and gets good reviews on the 1911 forum.

Better shot some of you WW3 stuff to make sure it feeds and functions w/o problems. Never carry a round that you have never shot, just asking for trouble. Shot what you carry to make sure it "like's" your handgun.

Stick to what works and not what is touted to be the next great eveloution in ammo. There are too many good options out there to be messing with the latest and greatest. Winchester now has the "new T series" which is the new black talon, aslo winchester ranger is some of the best I know of and is what many police issue. Hydra Shok and others as well.
