I load it with tracers and just point aimlesly in the sky and watch them fly away.

You must have some crazy optics that can "see" over the horizon. That, or you are shooting from a jetliner! You must have one nice 50BMG rifle!

I have a lot of tracer rounds, but I have never fired them before. Too dangerous here in AZ (or so smoky-the-bear says)

15 to 25 yards for me. However, so far most of my groups have been down and to the left. I'm not to sure why but it has to be because I'm so out of practice with shooting.

Mostly 10 to 25 yards...I'm still getting my technique together, so I always open to new ideas.

I do 90% of my shooting at 25 feet, and get groups around the size of my fist with my xd45. an inch or two with my .22 and 2-3 inches with my .38 revolver.
Lately I have been shooting at 6 inch plates at the back of the indoor range, 25 yards, and I can hit them probably one of three shots with my xd45, 4/5 with my .22, and 3/5 with my .38 revolver.
My current practice focus is to get more accuracy from my .45.

I still have issues with trigger control w/ my XD but at 10-15 yards I'm generally in com with no troubles. The other day I set up some milk jugs at 50 yards and had some fun knocking those puppies around

Do you have any idea what tracers do to your barrel? Let alone where they land. You don't any relatives living in themiddle east do you? They seem to like shooting guns in the air.

Hey

They say that most sd shootings take place from 7 to 21feet from the bad guy any further than that you should be able to retreat HA! Ha! and good luck with that. But any way I set up three targets most of the time 1st 3yds 2nd 7yrds and the 10 yrds. shooting with my 45 service 3yds 1 mag one hole size of a 25 cents,7yrds size of 50 cents and 10yrds size a little bigger than 50 cents. So i'm happy with that. just for fun I'll put out playing cards at 50 yrds or what ever I feel lucky at that day. Out of 1 mag of 14 I hit the card 6to 8 times.
