Great feedback, guys. This is exactly the kind of stuff I needed.

The reason for linking the dates (year) is it's suggested by Wikipedia guidelines. If I understand the reasoning correctly, it has something to do with allowing dates to display correctly according to different user preferences.

Good idea on linking the grip safety - and there is a Wikipedia entry describing what it is. I'll do that tonight as well. I'll also change the line about the different finishes - I had the impression that the SC models were only available in black - but you're correct. All models are available in all three finishes.

As for the different mag capacities, I didn't want to get too bogged down giving the exact cap of each model in each caliber, when someone can go to the SA page for specifics. I was mostly just tossing it in there using the most popular calibers and models to give the reader a general idea. I'll fix the 9mm info, and add something about double stacking though.

I'll work all of this into it tonight when I get home from work.

We (PistolGear.com) was once an external link on the old page. What happened?

Well, you could change it to "muzzle hop up" or "jump up" or "jump up and down".

I dunno, OS - I didn't remove it. I think I just added a link (the breakdown guide) and left the rest the way they were. I'd agree that PG should be in there, though. I'll take care of that as well.

OS, I can't speak for what 'Card may or may not have done, but I thought I'd point out that in a 'wiki', such as wikipedia, anybody can come along and change anything, anytime...so it can be tough to say 'what happened'.

Note that this cuts both ways...anybody (hint, hint) can go change it back, too.

Just a Bit or Two..........

Very well done.

I do want to offer up a slight correction
or two.

The manufacturer of the HS2K and XD is/was
IM Metal, not I. M. Metals. They changed their
name a few years back, to HS Produckt as which
it is still called.

Also, Intrac was the original importer. HS America LLC.
was the marketing arm and distributor through HS Arms
here in the US of A, all under the umbrella of Intrac.

Intrac imported less than five thousand HS2Ks into the
US of A. No wonder SA jumped on that and negotiated
an exclusive on importation. SA has done a great marketing
job on the XD series.

Hope this helps!
