Velocity out of Sub Compact
Has any body ever chronographed different ammo out of the sub.What got me to thinging about it was speer makes a special 38 spl+P 135 gr. GDHP for the 2" revolversThe bullet is designed to expand at the lower velocities.If spring ever gets here I am going to compare my SC and service model with some various ammo. There are probably some charts but I like hard data.Both of mine are 9mm.

My XD sub put 127gr Winchester SXT +p+ put at 1206ft/sec.
To compare with a larger pistol (my P89) one session it put the same ammo out at 1232 ft/sec and another day at 1237ft/sec. So an extra inch or so of barrel added 30ft/sec Don't worry about "special" ammo for a sub -Dana
