XD9SC in lay away!

Well, I've gone and done it! I put me a XD9SC (blued) in layaway this morning! It's new, but the gun shop said it was an older gun. It does'nt come with all the XD Gear. It comes with 2 10-round mags and a cable lock. With tax it's gonna cost me a total of $483.00. Once I get my CCW (waiting for Utah to process it) and once I get the XD out and tested, it will probably be my primary carry piece.

how "used" is it (handling wear)? does it have wear on it? if it does i'd try and find a better deal. if it came with all the xd stuff and 2 15 rnd mags and wasnt used it would be a good deal. around here i can get a new 1 with all the goodies for just under 500 brand new in box (NIB).

It was a very clean gun. No handling wear that I saw. I'm happy with the price. (the $483 is with tax $449.95 with out it.)

Start buying 5 boxes of ammo every weekend. You'll need it.

I sent my CCW paperwork off finally (should have done it long ago) to florida so I will wait and see how long it takes. Does anyone know if it actually takes the 3 months?

My XDSC 40 kit (blued) with xml light was payed off yesterday and should be shipped today so I should have it next week. It was 539.00 shipped (no tax) plus 8.00 for ffl transfer to a local person. I can't wait. I could have got the bi-tone for 10.00 more but didn't want it, they still have it in fact.

Probably the same reason arkansan's (like me) are getting theirs from Florida, they have reciprocity with more states not to mention cheaper.

Not to burst your bubble but I paid less than that for a bi-tone with all the new goodies. They have them with just the 2 mags all black for 425.

Do many states allow non-residents to get CHLs through them? I always figured you'd have to get a CHL through your state of residence, and then get a non-resident one from another state to supplement that if necessary.
