Thanks for the update. I was telling someone just today how impressed I am with XDTalk. It is very professionally managed to the benefit of all concerned.

question I have not figured how I can post things? Where do I do that at or do I have to pay for a diffrent membership.

Just a normal post like a question about an item. I have only been able to respond to posts that others make.

I have a bit of Internet marketing experience and I just don't like that you are not being straight here. You are upset because people who post links in their sig cut into your bottom line. At least on the surface it would seem they do. The problem is that the posters who post good info/comments and have a sig with a link to a commercial site are also supporting your forum by being here. Large presence, more free advertising. It's an incentive to stay.

Now I know we all have domain costs. Mine are about $90 a month for more bandwidth and storage that I could ever use in a lifetime. You can pay for that with one outbound link.

I'm not trying to be a punk. I am just a fan of a forum that will allow people to speak. I fear mods that take a open forum and slowly turn it into the fascist type of place we are all here to protect ourselves from. Please realize that there are other ways to monetize this site...many other ways!

You are confused I am just a new user of the forum asking for help on how to list a post on the forum. Calm down i have nothing to do with anything you are talking about. You seem to be wound up over something.

I see the new update re: links in users sigs. If I understand the new policy correctly, it only applies to links for BUSINESSES? Are the links in my sig an issue? Hope you guys can clarify this issue for me....
