Question for the vets

Just got back from the range for the second time with my purdy new XD, and for the second time at 25 yards it seems to fire high and to the left. could be its just me and lousy aim, just wondering if anyone else has run into this situation. it almost seems i have to aim for the targets crotch to get a head shot in.

thanks in advance

Is your finger placement too far up on the tip? This could be causing the pushing to the left.
