I bought my xd a week ago last friday it came in on tuesday and since then i have cleaned it twice and it is only saturday but maybe that will end tommorrow because im taking it to popguns to shoot. I actually like to clean it. I hear so many people complain about cleaning and oiling but i like it makes me feel closer to my gun lol.

Dude I got an Ultrasonic Cleaner so I could take even more care to do the job. I have lessened the actual cleaning time, but I see my self trying to get it even cleaner!! I am thinking about geting an air compressor just to blow it off!

I only clean them after I use them. It's theraputic.

I only truly clean my XD after a trip to the range, but I do wipe it down and oil it more frequently than I probably need to. I guess I just believe in keeping things of importance in working condition.
