Night Sight Forum

Excuse my ignorance but what is a gunnie? I remember when I was in the Marines we called our Gunnery Sergeant gunny is this what you mean?

In the age of being PC maybe they changed the spelling…to accommodate female Gunnery Sergeants. Kind of like what some cities have done with manhole covers.
