Duracoat on barrel?
I was thinking of DuraCoating my slide and was wondering if I could DuraCoat the barrel since the finish is wearing off of the breach.

The trick with that is that it takes 30 days more or less to cure. This means you will not be able to reassemble your pistol for 30 days. And after all of that even then the lock up is such that the forces will still wear the duracoat/gun coat/black t/ armory coat etc unevenly. This is what I tell the people who are thinking about getting the barrel done.
