OOOPS I DID IT AGAIN!!

This time I went out and bought a xd9sc bi tone. I realy wanted a 40 but nobody had a 40 bi tone. My wife shoots a xd9v10 so atleast I don't need to bring three diffrent types of ammo. I got the 127+p gold dots and the 127 +p+ hydros. This gun is a beatifull. All my guns are black until now. I almost got a kimber micro cdp but couldn't throw down 1k for a gun. That gives me 550$ to do addons. I have bought a xd9v10, xd45acp, s/a loaded, kel-tec 16a, marlin 17 hmr and now a xdsc9bi tone all in 2 months. I must say I have a great wife to go and give me permision to blow 4k in two months on guns and ammo.

Nice choice. I am not quite at your buying pace, but close. I have bought 2 ak's, an ar-15, and an xd-45 since January. That said, I really want an sc in bi-tone. I'm like you, I want a .40, but I'll probably get the 9 just to keep ammo costs down. Between the .45 ammo and the 7.72x39 ammo, I am going broke.

True last time I went shooting I shot 300 rounds of 45 and 200 of the 7.62x39. It took me all of 2 1/2 hours. Plus I shoot hollow points to make sure they work with my gun. I am still going to buy a kimber cdp or a S/A micro. It will have to be iin a few months though.

I will admit to buying 4 pistols in the last 2 months which I thought was a bit on the fast side. 4K huh? I will need to reset my upper limit of gleeful spending.

Does your wife have any sisters?

I got my XD9 SC bitone yesterday. I was also thinking .40 because I already have a XD40 Service bitone. After shooting the 9mm SC for the first time today, I have to say I think I'm glad I didn't get the .40. After shooting the 9mm with +P and +p+, I felt like the recoil was about like shooting my .40 Service. Recoil is perceived differently by everyone though.
I fired over 200 rounds using 6 different brands of ball and hollow point ammo with no failures of any kind. Seems like I was shooting a little low and left with it. Don't have that problem with my service, but I plan on replacing the sights anyway. Great fun to shoot.

Sheesh... you guys have me trumped by A LOT. It took me 2 years or something like that to finally get my XD... which I did on impulse after leaving a job and receiving my check for vacation pay. lol But now I'm looking for another one. If XD, the XD45 Tactical... if not, shotgun. I've narrowed it down. Either a 45 or 12 gauge. I wouldn't mind a SC but I have no trouble carrying my 4" around. Though when summer comes I may be in the market again for something smaller... who knows.
