Where to buy XDs?
I'm somewhat disappointed in the prices I'm seeing at the stores in my area (southeast PA). The cheapest I've seen the XD-9SC for is about $475, but then I read about a lot of folks getting them for around $430 and even some for $400.
I've looked at a few of the online dealers and seen them for around $450 but then by the time I pay the FFL fee and shipping, I'll be right back at the $480 mark. Is there any trustworthy online XD dealer that has a significantly lower price, like around the $400-$430 range? |

Alos make sure you're comparing apples to apples. Some XD's come in a package with mag holders, two or three magazines, an XD holster, and so on.

You're lucky to find those prices! I work at a shooting range and the other half is a gun store.
Our XD's are priced around $530 w/xd gear kit! Even as an employee, it doesn't knock it down in the $450 range! The advantages of working there......ENDLESS training after public hours! But if you see a good price on an XD, then get it.

Don't feel bad. I just ended up dropping $506 + tax for an XD40 SC. I've been waiting for a couple of months just to find a 2006, so when I did, I jumped.
My XD40 4" was $459+tax, but they are much easier to find.

I was at Cabela's this past weekend then they had some pretty good prices on XDs. Nearest one to you is off 78 in Hamburg.

It took me looking at 10 local shops before I was even able to find my XD 40 SC Bi-tone. I guess they new it was hard to find, because they did not budge on the price. Though it did come with the gear, it still got me for 535.00 + 10.00 for the mag extension... With tax 587.00
But the most important thing is that I GOT IT-FINALLY!

I paid about 505$ out the door for my XDSC9 with the 2006 kit. Thats the cheapest i could get it.
