Are you using a Fist IWB Kendex?

If so what one and what gun? and do you like it?

There are soooo many damn options out there im having trouble picking out one. Ive never used a holster so I dont know what I like. I know I want a IWB,I am right handed, id like to carry it front right and rear right, I want minimal wear, and comfortable. Id like it to be fairly easy to switch positions on my waste. HOW DO I CHOOSE???

I have a XD 4 service

and

XD 45 tactical

www.comp-tac.com is where I bought my C-T.A.C holster. That is one rig I'm happy I have. It's a great IWB.

So the C.T.A.C will fit my service and my tactical? Ill only have to get one holster? How is it on the finish of your pistol? Is it comfortable? And that holster is only for the rear? what clip did you get?

If you get the one that fits the tactical, it will fit both. If you get the one for the 4", it should also fit both. I had to modify the holster for my SC so it would fit my 4", but it does. The tapering at the end had to be removed, but it did not harm the holster or the protection of the SC. The 4" sticks out a bit. If you want more info on the modification, I'll send you the pics. I prefer the C clips, but my CCL instructor has the Standard clips. They both are great. I carry mine a little rear of my hip, but it's comfortable on my hip as well. The finish on my SC is a little worn, but that's mainly from my uncle mikes holster and shooting some competition with it. The XD finish is kinda crappy, though. I'm gonna get it refinished. I'm kinda tired right now, so if that didn't answer all of your questions, lemme know. Feel free to hit me up in IM if ya care to discuss it.

I have a FIST IWB/OWB holster. Comes with extras so it works either way. I think it's the KW1 model. It's fine for its purpose, I use it mostly as a match and/or range holster. It's kydex.. means finish wear. That's about all kydex holsters, unless they are lined, even then you will get finish wear eventually. How quickly is up to your amount of drawing. The CTAC slide will work with all models of XD; SC thru Tactical. But will extend beyond the end of the holster. Matter of fact, I'll be picking one up tomorrow night with a SC40 bi-tone, so I'll get a hands on shot at one for awhile.

Where are you going to buy the C-T.A.C holster from? have you found a good deal on it somewhere?

I went through the order form on comp tac's sight and I dont see where the 45 tactical option is, Do you know what one I choose? I want this holster to work for my 9 service and my 45 tactical.

Im hoping this will be a quality holster for CCW, im going to shoot the moon I think and get one, I hope im happy with it.
