IWB Holster question......

First off, I'm new to this forum and would like to say hi.

Second, I carry a XD9 SC in a Comp Tac CTAC holster. It is very uncomfortable to me, so I just ordered a Threat Solutions UCR. Has anybody used a Threat Solutions IWB before, or a DeSantis Scorpion (which I believe is the same thing). If so, how do you like it?

......the reason the CTAC is uncomfortable is that the bottom of the holster really digs into my side, regardless of my sitting or standing.

This is the one area that is really personal because what works for me may not work for you. That's also the reason I have around 15 holsters.

I carried my old XD-9SC in a Milt Sparks SS-2 and found it to be very comfortable. I now carry my Kimber Covert in a Milt Sparks VM-2 and love it.

Good Luck.......Skygun9

Holster

I carry my xd9sc in a Don Hume open top IWB H715 that I got from Gunner's Alley. It works well for me, the price was right, and service from Gunner's Alley was great.

I tried a Kramer IWB holster at the local shop the other day and it was VERY comfortable..................but at $105, I guess it better be. The Threat Solutions has already been ordered though. I gues if that doesn't work, then I might just get the Kramer.

Anybody that might be interested in a CTAC or Threat solutions, let me know.

What Kramer holster you talking about luvitlo? http://www.kramerleather.com/products.cfm?categoryID=27 has a big selection. I wonder what makes cowhide sheepskin and horsehides different. Not sure if I should continue researching if the results are going to be fruitless

Hey, this is my first post also. I have a kramer IWB for my service in horse hide and love it. I was a little spendy but with some things you get what you pay for. Horse hide is thinner and lighter than cow hide. I don't know of any advatage to shark skin other than its fricken shark skin and that is just cool....but to me not worth the extra $ whatever its benifits.

I'm sure whatever benefits the sharkskin provides are probably not worth the money, unless you have the cash'.. that lol

IWB #3 Cowhide. VERY nice holster, the gun locks in, just like a kydex.
