they are both chunky to carry so i'm thinking why not have the service model .40? if i trade in my sub is there anything i have to sacrifice in the" fun to shoot" department?( i like the cool look of the sub i must admit)

I swapped my SC for a Tactical and haven't regretted it one bit.
I ended up not using the SC for CCW, so I sold it to finance a Tactical and am using it for IPSC.

I wouldn't do it. I love my wife's sc. IMHO, it's one of the sexiest pistols.

Just save up for a service and you'll have two!

I wouldn't trade my SC for the world. want a smaller carry piece, get a kel-tec or somethin'...

I'm the opposite, I'm saving to buy a SC because I can't get myself to sell my Service to get one. I currently have a 2" snubby that I can carry pretty deep CW. I like the idea of bumping up to 10 rds from 5.
