What xd 9 should I get service or tactical? HELP!!!

I am in a stump, I dont know if I should get the all black XD 9mm tactical or the 9mm service bi-tone. I want the bi-tone cause of the finish issues on the black, but the tactical just look better to me, and would probably shoot a tad bit more accurately. Im going to use this 9 for CCW , HD and target shooting..

HELP, I want to buy today so if you can reply quick that would be great..

If you like the bitone better, and are wanting to use the xd for carry, then get the service.

My recommendation: don't rush it

Last thing you want to do is drop $500 or so and then wish you had made a different decision. I thought hard about it for a week, and am picking up my bitone service 9 today. From what I know (which is not too much), the service should be better for ccw.

Good luck with the decision...
Greg

Ok, so ill get the XD 9mm bi tone service w/no night sights. They have it at sportsmans for $479 + 7.375% sales tax + $25 background (total $540). Should I hold off and try and find a better deal? Or is it worth it to snag it up today?

wow, that seems really high. You should be able to find one online for around $450 shipped and then add $20 for transfer fee for a total of $470.

Well...

I paid $519 for mine all in. They're going up, quickly. The demand is high, and supply not so much. My range owner had to call 6 places before they found one in the midwest and had it overnighted late yesterday, and my guy got it this morning.

So, yes, you could hold off and potentially save a few bucks, but from what I've seen this week as I pursued mine, you won't save *that* much.

Good luck...
