I'm considering a kahr pm9 for a small carry gun. I love how thin it is, and how small it is. I need something I can conceal easier with most stuff I wear. To me, an XD even a sub-compact is a little thick for me. I want something thin so I don't know it's there as much, so i'm more likely to carry all the time. If it were me, I think I'd go with something like the kahr or kel-tec in 9mm at least. Unless it's intended to be a bug gun, but still even then those guns are small enough to be a bug gun. I plan on getting a kahr, or maybe that keltec pf9 and just using +P 9mm.

That Kahr PM9 is awfully nice. You'd expect a lot of recoil from such a physically small gun with a caliber like 9mm, but it's absolutely pleasant. And very, very slim. It's about .28" slimmer than the XD.

the difference between the service and SC is almost nthing IMO. Same width and if you carry an extra inch or 2 of barrel length doesnt make that much of a difference. I vote for the kahr if you want to go smaller. Plus unlike the bersa its the same ammo as your other gun.

Although it's not out yet (June or July), my preference would be for the Kel-Tec.
