Limpwristing and recentering when firing
Well I've become lazy with my shooting wrists again which fellow shooters have helped me notice.
What I want to accomplish is removing limpwristing (which is probably going to be a harsh transition because of my lax shooting style) and make my self able to realign my xd siights with ease after recoil. I figured a more stern approach when shooting would stop the limpwristing though I am not sure how to realign my sights properly after recoil. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated, I really do want to start hitting rapid fire bulleyes once again

Easy fool proof way to stop limp wristing- Lock your shooting side elbow- When weapon is drawn and ready to fire your strong side arm should be fully extended and elbow locked. Imagine someone trying to pull your arm down and your trying to to keep it straight- Lean forward slightly while shooting - This also helps off set recoil. Lock your wrist as though you were going to arm wrestle someone- Then press the trigger- Your arm and wrist and body will absorb recoil and your follow up shot will almost be in the same area as first because your body is absorbing recoil instead of letting the pistol jump all over the place. This is how to perform a double tap as well- practice trigger controll and you will be placing shots in a small area and very quickly as well- Hope that helps- Thats how I shoot in IPDA- Thats how I was taught from other shooters and friends from competitive shooting to SRT buddies.
