Service 4" vs Tactical 5" accuracy

Does the 5" version offer any advantage as far as accuracy goes? I am leaning towards the service, but if the tactical is more accurate I might go with it. Anyone with experience (specifically 9x19) please post average groups, etc.

Thanks

i don't have info on average groups, etc but my impression, from reading other threads, is that the longer barrel gives you more accuracy b/c it increases the distance between the sights. this increased sight line is the key to higher accuracy.

Service and tac I have owend both are pretty close to the same only advantage is faster target because of the longer sight radius require a little less effort. To be sure it straight

Yes...in a mechanical sense, but the average shooter probably wouldn't notice the difference. The longer sight radius and added muzzle weight can add to improved groups.
I personally prefer the balance of the 4" service vs. any perceived improvement in accuracy or velocity with the Tactical. I believe that in a service-style handgun that is designed with combat accuracy in mind, that weight and balance is the more important factor.

Don't know... I have the Service and found that I had pretty tight group with albeit not in the center of the target. I probabbly don't shoot well enough to notice a difference between the Service & Tactical.
