XD Open/Steel Gun
Ok Guys,
I'm a 2 finger typist, so I'll be brief. Tom Novak has my HS2K w/ an EFK bbl, and instructions to lighten the slide, EDM the bbl, ext mag rls, competition trigger job, mill and sink a J-Point into the slide, I have the Barsto magwell, and a great match in Palmyra PA in 2 weeks. I'll try to post pics ASAP. My friends tell me I'm nuts for using the XD format instead of my STI, but this little gun fits me too well to deny it any longer. Frank @ EFK and Tom have been great to deal with throughout the planning phase, and I look forward to a full range report soon.

It's not mine. It belongs to another XDTalk member. Considering the optics, the barrel, the comp, and the labor, it isn't cheap. That said, I am sure it less than a typical Open gun.
